The Island Map

The LOST Island. It's big and mysterious. Having an interest in maps, this is a project I wanted to undertake in order to create a comprehensive and attractive map of all the major locations and landmarks on The Island. My tools to help me reach this goal will be maps from the show, fan consensus, the always-helpful LOSTpedia, and plain old logic in the face of any inconsistencies.

  • The North Valley
When Jin discovers Jack, Kate, and Hurley in 1977, he takes them to meet up with Sawyer at a location called the north valley. Later, Sawyer tells Juliet that he’s going to meet Jin “at the North Point.”
We are never shown specifically where these two locations are, but we can see on screen that there are mountains inland of this location, and that it is directly beside the ocean. The coastline also appears to be rocky, as opposed to a sandy beach. Additionally, a name like “North Point” could suggest the northernmost point on The Island. With this information, we can make an educated guess as to the location of the northern valley and the North Point.
