We know that there is a well very close to the site of the Orchid. During the time of the DHARMA Initiative, the well is filled with earth, but in the past, it provided a way to access the frozen wheel chamber. In that past time period, the statue of Tawaret, as well as the ocean, were clearly visible from the site of the well.

First, this indicates that the station is very close to the shoreline, and there are no mountains to obstruct the view of the ocean. Based on the shape of the shoreline, the statue appears to face west. The well appears to be directly behind it, indicating that it is nearly due east from the statue, and perhaps just slightly more to the north since you can see a little more of the right shoulder than the left.
